enough blood flow to the essential parts of the eyes when they need it.
(Of course, this does not apply when, for example, someone is born
with poor eyesight.)
The Solution
Understanding our body is vital to maintaining it properly. Making
a good connection with our body enables us to be constantly alert, to
achieve good collaborative processes.
We often hear that walking is healthy. What is not known is that
walking is indeed healthy, but that a certain knowledge about the
functioning of the body is required to do this in a healthy maner. This
is why it is so important that we get to know our bodily functions
well. If we are aware of them, we will have a continuous good working
relationship with our body and it will consequently send us far fewer
alarms to help us understand what we are doing wrong.
Recently, during a consultation, I asked someone if she had already
eaten. I could feel her pulse was very weak. She replied: “Yes, I ate a
sandwich during my lunch walk.” I then gave her a few nuts and her
pulse improved as she ate them.
We can see in this case, and in the example of the glasses that I
explained before, that the body was not able to process food properly
because the blood was mainly sent to other parts of the body and
not enough to the digestive tract. Simply put, the body had used the
blood for a physical performance – walking -- and not for digestion
and vice versa.
