tiredness, malnutrition, allergies, anemia, and many other ailments
were treated with the Quinton formula. These were recognized by the
French Health Authority.
Almost a century later (1974), a group of researchers from the
University of La Laguna de Tenerife, reproduced some of Quinton’s
experiments. These researchers are convinced that seawater can normally
be transfused in cases where many people would need blood. This
would help save thousands of lives.
The results obtained in a veterinary clinic, in the Physiology and
Endocrinology department of the Faculty of Medicine of the University
of La Laguna, where stray dogs, between two and five years of age,
malnourished, sick and with skin problems, were treated according to
Quinton’s experiments using seawater were truly amazing.
At three days, the recovery of the animal that should have died,
was total and they were quiet active. The dogs fully recovered from
the conditions they suffered before the experiment.
The researchers confirmed, “Both in the first and in the second
series of experiences highlight the value of marine plasma to
replace blood plasma with notable advantages over physiological
serum, as well as its undoubted therapeutic value, reflected in the
recovery of the conditions they suffered from the dogs subjected to
the experiments that have been described.”
It is really inexplicable that despite these results, the scientific
community showed no interest. Quinton’s methods are called
“unconventional treatments.”
However, in 2003, at the First Interuniversity Meeting on Seawater,
the researchers who were still living re-ratified their opinions in this way:

“From this document, the purpose of which is to be published in
a scientific medium as support or endorsement for the Marine
Dispensaries currently operating in various countries with the
purpose of stopping deaths from hunger in the world, we attest who
