CHAPTER 8
OUR NATURAL WEALTH
Our beloved earth and its gifts
I remember a few years ago, on a trip to Israel when by chance we
made a trip to the Dead Sea. What a unique experience, one of the
countless and precious gifts life has given me.
Some of the remarkable things about the Dead Sea are that you
cannot stay in it for more than half an hour. You cannot swim in it,
you can only float and this must only be done on your back. You also
cannot expose your face to the water. The salt and mineral content
in this water is so extraordinarily powerful, that in this short period
of time immense benefits are received.
An acquaintance who had suffered for many years from an infection
with a fungus growth on a scar of about 25 cm long on the leg, he
massaged the scar from time to time with the water during the half
hour he was enjoying this sea bath. Finally, we left the Dead Sea and
continued our trip to Jerusalem.
Incredible but true, the fungus, which had failed to disappear
after numerous years of attempts with creams, ointments, and other
remedies, disappeared and never returned after this half-hour of bathing
in the Dead Sea, amazing!
