Step 4. Your Number 1 Food

Whenever I ask people what is the best food for the body, I receive
answers such as water or vegetables. It is very peculiar to notice how
little we are connected to our body. We are often extremely busy
fulfilling our obligations and trying to achieve the goals or ideals we
think are the most important things in our life in the best way possible.
But this daily rat race does not allow us to take the time to connect
with what we really need to connect, in order to have an optimum
             life: our body.
Sit down and take a few minutes to see what your body is doing.
You can notice there is one important thing your body is doing right
now: breathing, right? Therefore, you could conclude that in breathing
there is something that is supremely indispensable; your body needs
oxygen every moment to stay alive. This is your vital food. You cannot
live without it. You can live without taking physical food (including
water) for minutes, hours, even days or weeks. What you cannot do
is keep living if you cannot breathe! Oxygen is the invisible gold for
our body. It is the Golden Essence we cannot see or touch but that
             feeds our body.
Have you ever seen what Yogis (people who are dedicated to
meditate to connect with the pure Essence of Life) do? They spend
hours, days, and even weeks or months meditating, taking only this
Invisible Golden Essence we call oxygen. Their bodies do not need
anything else. Their daily food is this and nothing else.
Well, now that you know this, after having done the previous steps,
I advise you to get up and stand in front of a window or door. I do this
in front of my window. Start connecting with your breath, feel what
is entering your body through your nose. Feel it enter, follow the path
that it travels and follow it with your thoughts and your senses. Smell
it, what does it smell like? Does it have any flavor? Experience it in
the back of your nose. Is this feeling pleasant? Or do you feel the air
