MY HEALTH BIBLE 1
The transition of Yang to Yin, and vice versa, was found in all the
movements of nature, as well as the point of conversion, (the tiny dot
in each part of the Tai Qi) that symbolizes the movement from the
one to the other (which we find in the symbol of Tai Qi. See fig.3).
It occurs when the Yin or Yang are at their maximum energy and the
opposite starts to grow at that point. Like when the night is dying out
and we can glimpse the beginning of the day into darkness.
Tai Qi Symbol
Fig.3. This symbol represents Yin and Yang, the two basic principles of
our existence, according to the Eastern philosophy.
But it is not only what we can see from the outside that makes
our body, our existence, so special. Our body consists of Yin and
Yang processes. These two opposing forces are present in every tiny
movement in our body.
When we talk about the movement of the heart, we cannot but
picture our heart. What does it do? It pumps about 4 to 5 liters of
blood per minute. This is about 7.000 liters per day. The force to pump
arises through the movements of contraction and relaxation. So, here
we see again the two polarities. To be able to create this movement,
ions (particles loaded with positive or negative load -- Yin and Yang)
are required.
In conclusion, our body moves through these two polarities. We
exist, move, and live because of these two polarities emanating from
the splitting of the universe and the addition of time and space.
