In conclusion: Garlic contains few calories, but is very rich in
vitamin C, vitamin B6, and manganese. In addition, it also contains
small amounts of other nutrients. (2)
A one-ounce (28-gram) serving of garlic contains:
Manganese: 23% of the RDA.*(3)
Vitamin B6: 17% of the RDA.
Vitamin C: 15% of the RDA.
Selenium: 6% of the RDA.
Fiber: 1 gram.
It also contains reasonable amounts of calcium, copper, potassium,
phosphorus, iron, and vitamin B. plus small amounts of other nutrients:
42 calories, 1.8 grams of protein, and 9 grams of carbohydrates.
When our artillery is well reinforced, there is no doubt that
undesirable microorganisms will have a very difficult time, since we
are not only hiding behind walls and putting on a mask, isolating
ourselves because we feel that we are not armed enough. When we
strengthen our defenses in this way, we are empowering our body,
helping it protect itself with its innate abilities against undesirable
